In my case, I’ve offered to write a dust jacket quote (what we call a blurb) for someone who’s able to get their manuscript published, and I’ll do a joint event, virtual or, if possible, in-person when the book is released. Authors will be offering all kinds of terrific items for the auction. May 18-21, Sisters In Crime will host an online auction to raise money to support the important work of The Innocence Project. To date, The Innocence Project has helped free 246 wrongfully convicted human beings, who collectively spent 3,777 years in wrongful incarceration, and 10% of whom had been sentenced to death.
The Innocence Project works to exonerate these victims of our flawed system of justice. Every year, men and women are wrongly convicted of crimes they did not commit.
